I'm doing an investigation for a racing team.

My answers might throw the social media results as I don't use either Facebook or Twitter but I do understand that it is important to include these in any teams involvement with its fans and potential sponsors tend to like that.

I did my Twitter only to get some IndyCar info as it is my favourite series.
I get some sports car info from there too.
Facebook I only did to keep in touch with people from a MMORPG I played, noone of these acc have real life friends added.
