Hello from London
Hi my name is Stephen Morris I'm 39 and I come from west London.
Nowadays I only play GTR2 and I only recently stopped playing GTL when I learned how to convert the cars to GTR2 and before that I was a huge fan of GP500.
However I am planning to have have a look at Assetto Corsa in the near future and I have been playing driving games since the old the Commodore 64 days.
I found out about the EEC TEAM through DrivingItalia.
I have raced online in the past but at the moment I tether my internet through my phone so I am not sure if it would be fast enough to race online. "I might give it go"
No not much freetime these days unless between midnight and 3am
I have skinned a few cars in the past just for fun and a bit of a learning experiment, [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
No I don't mind if you only give me access to some mods although my only motive is to drive the cars weather that be off or online.
Yes I am here to acquire as many of my favorite cars as possible but i am friendly and quite a handy person to have around.
As a 14 year old I followed my uncles around the country sneaking in to various race tracks to watch them race GSXR 1100's and CBR 600's in ClubMan races. The highlight for me was getting the chance to ride the bikes to scrutineering and then getting drunk in the evening before the morning practice sessions or the days racing... (I was a 6f 14 year old!). This then progressed onto British SuperBike where a family friend got a ride on the Durex Suzuki. Looking back on those days I consider myself to be very lucky as I got to see first hand the birth of modern superbikes with the introduction of the Ducati 851/888 and the Yamaha OWO1. I was always firmly in the Yamaha camp although I do own an old Ducati now.
I'm a big fan of music, Nick Cave and Radiohead to name a few, Modern Art, design, History, a bit of everything really and I teach English as a second language which also helps quench my thirst for knowledge and culture.
er... what else... Coffee, chocolate, cheese and cigarettes that's me!
Thanks for taking the time to read my blurb.
Steve

Re: Hello from London
Hi guys,
Thanks for your kind welcome
I've been chomping at the bit to finally get stuck in but very quickly realized that, there's no point turning up to a gun battle with a pocket knife! Time for that long over due upgrade... It's true what they say, ignorance is bliss and curiosity is downright costly
