A little tip for anyone that uses CrewChief and experiences a huge fps drop during rain, go to your GTR2 folder/plugins/CrewChief.ini and set graphicsRainReflectionResolutionFactor to 1 (i don't know why 4 was set as default in my case), if this isn't enough disable your car mirrors or use the virtual ones.
I didn't find this solution posted anywhere so maybe someone here finds it helpul.
Besides I started making pace notes for some circuits, here's one for the Eifel circuit by Bjorn Klaassen, Lachub and BenMK1.
Any advice, recomendations or petitions for pace notes for other tracks are welcomed.
The only problem I've found is that you may need to restart them after 1 lap.
