Raceroom R3E Free Weekend

I know we won't all get along with the Raceroom game, partially because it has a stupid business model, partially because it doesn't allow modding, partially because it was terrible when we all first tried it, but they're having a free, all content open this weekend and I thoroughly recommend trying it if you haven't done before.

It has a lot of problems, but if you like PCARS or you liked Race07, give this a try because it has an awesome driving model, some great cars (Group 5, DTM 1992), well modelled tracks (including Com8's updated Salzburgring, Sachsenring and a superb Macau) and incredible sounds.

Honestly, if you tried it before and wrote it off, give it another shot because it's a completely different game.

I can only agree with Rodger... I threw it away earlier and fell in love with it a few weeks ago!

Agree totally Rodger. The business model is truly the only downside to R3E. I've been driving stuff I don't own like a madman on real tracks to see if it's enjoyable. I think I'll probably end up buying the rest of the prototype cars but haven't cared much for the other stuff I've test driven on real tracks (The German National Cars, the Mercedes in GT3, or the Camaro in GT3). The touring classics is another good section to try. I love that old Volvo and I've run the wheels off of it I think.

i must admit, i love the sound, the ffb and the gfx.
i had respect of the physics, so i was happy to hear i can check out the rest of the content. but somehow (probably to much AC driving), i lost my love to it,
or did they change something in the physics lately?
