[Mod Source] R: Racing Evolution 2016 Mod

Post  Blacksamurai055 on 27/3/2016, 07:08

I sank a bit of time into playing with the Mod Source cars and I didn't want it to go to waste since the GT4 mod has kind of moved away from this material so I arranged them into their own mod with teams and drivers inspired by the old Ridge Racer series games. It also gives a chance to see if I have any bugs in my physics. A practice mod for me, so leave feedback especially if anyone finds any problems with the mod. Thanks, hope you enjoy it.

Thanks Michael!
Need some help with the physics I think. Tested the Leon Supercopa and I think you saved the windows in a wrong way.

Not so great at body painting and even worse with glass, I know you can see out of the Integra but you can't see back in. I'll play with Seat cause in testing I was slowing it down for being too fast.

This is why I need feedback, all the Class 3 transmissions shifted badly. Let me know what else you find thanks.

First of all I want to thank you for making this mod available.
I found a mistake in the .cas files of the BMW, the lotus and the nissan.

example:
MASFile=Nissan_370Z_CPIT.GTR
MASFile=Nissan_370Z_OBJ.GTR
MASFile=Nissan_370Z_TEX.GTR
MASFile=Nissan_370Z_WHEELS.GTR
MASFile=Stex.GTR
MASFile=Stex_GT4.GTR
MASFile=Talent.GTR

shouldn't Stex_GT4.GTR be Stex_SM.GTR like all other cars. If I change this the cars work.

Yes it should, the GT4 is from when it was the GT4 mod. In my last updates before posting it I must have updated it with an older file by accident. Of course I don't catch that one cause I have both files on my system so that's for calling that out.

hmm found another bug: the roof-scoop is missing for the Leon in-game. In the showroom model it's right.

+ maybe someone with 3D modding experience can make those holes in the front bumper in 3D. Forza used the presentation model ;( And most of the Mk2. Supercopa's uses these Braid wheels:[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I have seen them on a French rf1 league mod see here note: these are not the street supercopa rims. But unfortunately can't find the mod.

wording in the .cas file leaves the scoop off in close range camera views unless your game was at the lowest settings. A few numbers set to zero cure the scoop problem.
