Hi Fellas

This looks like a "haven" for Simmers as you said.
I would like to join your forum.

What's your real name, age?
Floris Brand, age 39

From where you are?
Cape Town, South Africa

Which Sim games do you play?
GTR2

How did You know about EEC Team?
I spotted a post on the Nogrip forum

Do you ever race online?
I prefer to race online by far.
The adrenaline pumps so much faster.

Do you have enough free time to run on sundays?
I am available to race on sundays

Do you know something about modding, skinning?
I am a junior skinner. I skinned my own cars for 3 league seasons in the past.

Any problem for you if we give access only for some Mods?
No problem - I am sure there will be a valid reason.

Are you here only to grab mods and then leave us?
No, I hope to get some good racing done.

Please, write a few words about you (hobbies, sports, job, etc):
I am glad you mention hobbies. SIM racing is my hobby of choice.
I started SIM racing with GTR2 shortly after it was launched.
I started racing in leagues about 3 years ago.
I work in the communications industry and I have a fat pipe to the internet by South African standards.

I am looking to race in a league where on-track respect is maintained with an iron fist.
I take racing seriously and I want to drive with racers who drive fairly.
I am still a bit slow so I have to practice a lot for each race.
I do not want to take a risk by driving with wreckless racers.

I look forward to joining a race soon.

Hi and welcome here Smile

Now you just have to wait for reaching 10 reputation points by the other members (they usually come in few days when a new membermakes a nice and clean presentation).
Then you will be able to see the rest of the forum.

Oh yes, forgot to say: please add your complete name to the signature as well Wink

EDIT: nevermind, I see you have it already. Will come from your next post then

Hi and welcome Floris Smile +1
You've come to the right place. I don't race online anymore but I've
been around online racing forums since the mid 90's and these guys
must be playing straight. I never read any bitching about recklessness
here so that tells me they've got it right thumbs

Hello from South Africa Empty Dual IP's

Post  Guest 5/9/2013, 10:31

Hi Folks

Thanks for the votes of confidence so far.

I read that dual IP's need to be explained.
I want to give you a quick heads-up.

I registered from my racing rig at home last night.
I will race using that IP.

I am writing this to you from my office notebook which I intend to use for forum purposes during business hours.

I trust this is in order.

Thanks to the admins for approving my membership.

I had a good read into the racing here and I would like to join in the fun.
I am interested in all the current classes on offer.

I am off to the showroom to find my first weapon of choice.

See you on track!

You need to be added to the drivers group then you'll be able to see the downloads for online races.
You can choose the cars in the league topics that are running at this moment. They have a "free ?" beside the driver names, that mean that car will be free to use if you are interested.
In WEC if you are interested in P2 class I think you can have a car that is already there if the team had 2 cars (like Level 5) if I'm not mistaken. Daniel said a skin is not a problem but a new model would need more work to fix bugs and remove some stuff.
