Rfactor2
Hi all.
I've been using the eec content on AMS for about a year and I have to say I absolutely love it. I play almost exclusively offline and it is a ton of fun.
However, as good as ams is (and it is amazing) it has a couple of shortcomings in single player which make it pretty much unplayable for me.
My sim of choice is rf2. Is there any way of converting some of the GT3 cars in to rf2? I realise this might be unpopular but I'm just a guy, playing at home on my own wanting to race his favourite car in his favourite SIM.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Vern

Re: Rfactor2
There are some tutorials about porting rf1 cars to rF2 (so works for AMS content too). You'll just have to find out how to unpack AMS content as it has a different encryption, I forgot how it's done.
It does take some work to make it. Physics are easier as it works with a staright port (just remove the specific AMS lines from the mod), you'll just have to resize the tires to fit graphically, there is an option in the files that do it I think.
If you are expecting other people to do this it wont happen tho, it would have happened already if anyone had enough interest. I tried that long ago but it was not worth so I gave up.

Re: Rfactor2
Of course. Rf1 to rf2 makes sense. I'm a complete novice at this sort of thing so will be some achievement if I manage to get it working.
Any more advice you can offer would be most welcome.
