FIA GT 2000 - 2009 collection mod [new version of Exige 300RR released]

Of the two versions posted I'd say the Jensen #63 version is proably the closest to that Corvette. But if I remember correctly TRD3 models have a pretty weird template (as proven by the Monaro in this mod) and as such it would need a major remapping to make a useable template. And if I'm not mistaken it would need an interior cockpit from another already in-game car too, as the original interiors in TRD3 are a bit low quality.

IDK if you already have this but here's NP Racing's 96 spec GTS-R, would probably be better to paint it on Verde's car. It seems like the sponsors didn't change between Daytona and Homestead

About the oddities of the 99 season. It would be nice to have at least the Mosler, until he retired he gave headaches to the Oreca Vipers at Homestead. ChaosZero, would be cool if you release those cars, especeally the M3 e36 sedan, it goes several seasons and it's the only car missing in 2000 ALMS mod.

It's so down on my priority list I haven't worked on those cars in over 2 years.

So when I'm waiting for last skins for v1.03 update, I made some small progress with Bucharest Ring - god, that takes forever   I decided to also make 2008 version with less lethal chicanes with a bit of runoff, that's frist of them. Don't mind crappy background, that's still WIP.

I agree especially for GT1 and GT2 cars with very few places for over taking

The track should have been twice as large with longer straights

Then there wouldn't have been crashes like this

Well, I think that track was pretty awesome! And it's great fun to drive in GTR2.

Yes it is fun in GTR2......but imagine racing a REAL 650 hp GT1 car
on that track and trying to pass the GT1 car in front of You

It wasn't the best track for GT racing but I think every championship needs to have atleast one different race format than normal races. Anyway it's a challenging track

I'm a little late to the party, but I just wanted to thank you, Maxellero, for this. I just reinstalled GTR2 after many years away from the game and this is exactly what I was looking for.

Yes, these seasons with lots of cars needs a lot of time to spend on painting it. Anyway 2000 season looks much better with the correct number plates and windshields, so 2001 will be better too.

Firstly, I really appreciate your work on this superb mod. It's good to see, community is still alive after such a long time after game release.

I would like to ask you some questions about this mod.
- Do you use any AI tweaks for better offline racing, physics tweaks in your mod? For example VonDutch tutorial, GTR2 reborn mod.
Do someone have Vondutch tweaks, cause I dont remember everything of it and nogrip is gone.

-Is this collection compatible with 10th anniversary patch? HQ tracks or AI tweaks?

I didn't make any tweaks in mod for better AI in hdc files, for me the changes in PLR file are enough for good racing.

I don't know, never tested it, but I think if you know what you're doing, 10th anniversary patch should work without any flaws.

Dont you suffer from AI slowdown because of aero damage after 1 hour of racing? Can you post more details about changes you ve made in your PLR file or any tweaks or useful resources to improve offline racing ? Thanks very much.

99 season by comparison was quite low in terms of entries , mostly old 911 GT2 (a few are local entries only)   , some Vipers  , the average grid barely had 20 cars , not including the american guest entries and the ZHUHAI ones (some Lamborghini , Porsches and Venturi)

Luckily, majority of the N-GT cars aren't hard to get, one of the Vettes have already been done, BPR has the Venturi, in theory you could take the Cobra R from Forza, the 911s aren't anything special, and Verde has the right model for NP Racing's Viper. The only problem cars are the Diablos, the SSZ, the Mosler, the Cutlass, and the C5 Corvette, granted you could do that on the C5-R if push comes to shove. The 996s may be an issue because I have never seen a single pic of any of the 1999 ones. Bovi's 964 already has picture available iirc
