My trace for the RCZ skins show this after renaming:
tire_manager 1171: Non-existent tire brand ""

O_BaseGz.cpp 8759: CUBE error loading scene file USERDATA\tmpvehicle.scn: Error loading global material WC_TEAM_BODY1_PA
Could probably be a hint.
