I was waitng for this mod for so long, absolutely worth it ! Very Happy

One thing though, there's a bug with the qualy in championship mode, when you skip at the end of the session to warm-up. I think that's because GTR2 simulates Qualy 2, meaning the order at the end of Qualy 1 is completely different, making me loose 3 to 5 positions.
Easy to fix, Just have to change "SkipQualyfying2" by "SkipQualyfying1" in the championship *.gdb (\GameData\Championships\Official\BTCC_19XX.gdb) and it's good to go !
I also changed the value of AeroMin damage.dmg and damage_stc.dmg to 7500.

Anyway, I'm having a blast ! Excellent work thumbs

If you un select both qualifying sessions in single race mode before entering championship mode you shouldn't get that problem.

Well guys, if you want some great senseless fun, put up a 10laps race on the Top Gear Track with the full BTCC '94 grid. No quali and random start position with standing start, and the highest aggressivity setting. Is incredible what happens afgter just two laps...

This was my car at lap 4.... rofl

When a mod actually comes with talent files (and season-specific ones at that!), I know it's going to be quality. Can't wait to try this out.

I have just downloaded and reinstalled this and still get CTD for all cars, is anyone else having this issue?

Simon, is there a file which would have been in the v3 mod that the v4 version could be reading from, therefore causing this issue? Very frustrating!

I can't think what they could be reading from, all the supertouring and most of the production class read from those two .GTR files and the individual model .TEX, CPIT, .WHEELS and .OBJ .GTR files. They no longer rely on the standard STEX.GTR file.

I used a clean install throughout putting together and testing the mod and then tried it once i had packed it in my heavily modded install and it worked fine.

If Marc has it working in a clean install that rules out a missing file in the download

I found this forum due to my search for BTCC mods and what I found here is simply amazing! I play mainly Race07 and I was wondering if this mod will be made available to it as well?

actually the major parts of this mod have been converted from AndreasFc's Super Touring Mods/Series over at Race Dept Wink

The only thing that is not in Race07 is the production class.

Skins made by DBstreet a.k.a Satori added to first post, includes:

1995 Fia World Touring Cup, 1995 STW, 1995 CIVT, 1995 FFSA, 1995 CET.

One new model made by Satori - 1995 SEAT Toledo from Spanish championship.

This guy has posted a video of that car.

Sorry I meant to remove that from the genstring info, I disabled the 95 style splitter as it didn't look that good.

Is that so..?? It's OK, at least the 405 has a better looking than v3 (and some of the skins, such as zumlee's Vectra are compatible with this version)

All the skins should still be compatible, if they appear not to work it will be because the genstring has changed in the .CAR file.

If you want the Volvo Estate to 2nd splitter to work put these two inside the folder
GameData\Teams\Supertouring\Volvo 850 Estate
