That would be difficult, maybe if you rename everything it would work, but that would mean opening every file etc etc I guess (I'm not a modder), so that would be a hell of a job. I think it's easier to say it's not possible to use the versions from 2.3 and 3.0 from the same car.

It's not a straight forward process, but for some cars it is possible. A good portion of them, the models are the same (the Porsche's for example). There was some GENString changes between 2.3 and 3.0. So those would have to be changed to the new version, which is easy.

The bad news comes that there are a few cars that have changed models. The McLaren and Mercedes are 2 examples. Since they are different models, they would have to be repainted.

That is the reason why I haven't gone back and redid the 2014 PWC cars.

Yeah, that is true. The Audi and Aston Martin are also different models. But the indeed the Porsche, or the Corvette for example could be used when the Genstring and the right .hdc and .cas files are linked. You'd have to try out for yourself Joao which cars work fine and which don't Smile

Can anyone create a genstring line for gold wheels for the Ferrari 458? I have the painted wheel as a rim colour, but need this to be genstring specific as other cars use it when they shouldn't.

Is there still the 2.0 mod out there, I want it because it features the viper competition coupe, Mustang, 9brs9, etc. I like this one but I like the the amount of cars in the earlier one

Gold BBS rims are included but I'm after the standard rim (number 1) in gold.

Is there still interest in more updates? Would be cool to know before I spend more time for it. I have updated the F458 again with the latest remaps from Dan's GSEX version (backend mapping) and updated templates and shadow-layers and masks. Looks 10x times better than before. thumbs

Next would be the SLS again with the fender-vents-update on the frontbody. geek

I have something going which involves the GT3 mod (hopefully more news soon Razz

), especially the 458, so yeah I would definetly be interested in more updates! I still really like GTR2 thumbs

IMT body has wider fenders, closer to real one. You shouldn't redo whole car cuz it's the similar "older" 997, just put the wider body if it possible Smile
