BMW Z4 E89 2010 Specmap Fix 3.01 by Basukid.

Fixed the issue, that the carbody itself has no refelction at all. Seems there was something missing in one file for the emap-settings which resets that setting for the whole car. Anyway. unzip the file directly into your \GTR2\GameData\Teams\EEC GT3\BMW Z4 E89 folder and let it overwrite.

The template is still there. You use one template for all carstyles. You only need to switch the shading (and while painting maybe wireframe) from LP560/600 to FL2 or back) depending hwat car you need. I's all included in the BODY1 Template.

I'm currently working on a Lambo Update but it will affect the FL2 mostly. So no worry if you start skins for the LP600 or 560. For the FL2 I have updated the template in some areas and added some tsuff which is usefull for all skinners.

Wow how did I miss that one, I DL all but the Lambo.

For some reason I cannot get the SLS to work in the game. Every other car in this mod works fine, but when I try to use the SLS it crashes the game.

Has anyone else had this issue? I've downloaded all the updates from the first post.

Create a shortcut on the area for GTR2, and add the "-trace = 30" command, in front of the game's executable.

Follow these steps:
1th - Click the right mouse button on the shortcut and open the ultuma option (properties).
2th - in the "Destination" line, add in front of the "exe" command "-trace = 30".
3th - should look like this: "GTR2.exe -trace = 30".
4th - Start the game by that shortcut.

This command will generate a "log" called "trace.txt" it is saved in the folder "GTR2\UserData \ LOG".
When the game is close you only go to that folder open this file and see where the end is going on the error.
Normally this gives you the problem of reason, making it easier to fix it.

Good explanation  Luis , take a look of the bottom of all those lines , and you can find what was the problem or some kind of issue in the trace log

For the SLS I have no problems. Did you use my update? I guess something got wrong with your install and the car doesn't find a file.

I also had that problem but divxx told me that he will upload a package tomorrow and hopefully that fixes our problems.

Exactly, the game has encountered an error reading the material file "MERC_SLS_GT3_MISC".

Make sure that after installing the Mercedes update, edit all your old Mercedes .car files and assign a numerical value to the 7th digit in the genstring, it can't be left as an 'X' if you've updated to V3.1. As an example, here's what I did with my Zakspeed SLS to get it working:

GenString=A217X1X10

change to -->

GenString=A217X1110

Not sure if this is what was causing everyone's crashes, but I couldn't get the old cars to load right after applying the update package. Assigning a bodymask value fixed it for me.

No problem, Andreas.  Your update is worth it, cleaner and more streamlined than my method for adding masks.
