My name is Katenka but calling me puppyfan is fine. I'm 35 years old, Russian origin, but living in the USA for more than a decade now.
-I've raced many sims so I won't get into listing because that is not what the introduction is for. I did both modding and skinning in the past but they were mostly for my own needs. To do things like putting classic skins on modern GT3 cars for the sake of nostalgia when you don't have the classic model. I've known of EEC for a long time, because of GTR2. Since I stopped sim racing and league racing I did not join. Now I'm thinking of rebuilding my GTR2 because I have time again for racing
So my interest lies heavily in motorsports, in particular I love the GT1 era of LeMans from when I first learned about sports cars from Gran Turismo. GTR2 is still the only sim I know with the variety that has classics like that.

" I first learned about sports cars from Gran Turismo." Me too! I got really excited when I saw there were real life versions of Gran Turismo cars and it got me interested in GT racing. Then when Gran Turismo 2 came out with all those big GT1s!!!! A new world was open to me!

" GTR2 is still the only sim I know with the variety that has classics like that." Yes. AC has a good list now, but you're not in the position with that game to make races exactly how you want them. So I still am taken back to GTR2. The list of great GT1s and type cars is still expanding.
