Some skins in it still arnt right however there is an issue with the template that required me to sorta remap the car to get stuff from overlapping.

Don't know if that's a good idea to use that model, it's very heavy, on old computer I had problems with just one car on track, let alone 10 or even more.

I'll try to see about modifying to reduce poly count or see if I can somehow transfer the front bumper over like the Roock one

I used it on mine with the max grid of the season which was 49 at Silverstone (which btw the track can't support) so I used Spa and which 49 GT2s it only used 2.5gb and then i mixed in a few into the 98 season and raced at Spa again and it was the same, right around 2.5gb.

Comparing RAM usage doesn't work, because remember that GTR2 have to load all LODs for cars, even when it propably won't be used.
To show you the difference, I took only highest LODs for those cars (GMTs that are in use when you're close to the car, including collision and shadow), that's the result (only GMTs, not counting DDS files):
GTR2 model - 9479 faces - 1,32 MB

Nobody73's model - 107081(!!!) faces - 13,3 MB

That difference really can affect FPS. Plus Nobody's Porsche doesn't have LODs, so this highly detailed model is used the whole time.

I will say, I prefer models within a mod/carset to have a similar level of detail, even if there are slight inaccuracies.

Have to also say, how happy I am that these seasons will finally be in GTR2 . I have very fond memories of the F1C FIA GT 1997 mod when I was getting into simracing.

I found out the Eschmann Porsche used the same livery from FFSA but a cant hardly find pictures of it.

Borek is updating marcos.

When going through shadows the cockpit goes very dark. It's looks like the windows receive shadows when they shouldn't. For instance going for a pit stop at Valencia towards dusk it is very difficult to see out the window in pit lane.

Also the Diablo doesn't have any cockpit shadows.

Ah ok, I'm not using max shadows so didn't notice that. But it's easy to fix. Open cas file, find instance=cocpit and delete shadowreceiver=true for front window gmt.

Wow, don't know how I missed this on its release, downloading and will be clearing some space for a new install.

I see 1997-1999 are being worked on that will make a great update.

has anyone tried to add the old BPR mod into the same install ?

As Im playing through my 2000 season it was bugging me that all the N-GT cars have the wrong/badly sized numberplates so I've been giving the 2000 season and probably 01 and 02 a minor facelift as i play through them and they immediately look alot better. However some were so bad i redid them quick which means new RWS Porsches, #75 Loris Kessel and JMB Ferrari's for 2000 so far.

There is a lot of work to do here Troy, but will be nice to see better looking cars in these seasons.

I've found in my hard drive an old skin that I started some time ago of the #78 Cirtek Porsche from 2000  at Silverstone wich is different than Zolder livery of this car. I will upload here as soon as possible.

Do you also add shadow layers for those cars? Because plenty of 2000-2002 skins don't have them or it's very basic.
