Anyway, Alfa 155 gives up a performance boost? Cause at Suzuka (2012 version from izukon) i finish on the first places.
I need to made more test cause it seems that rear mirrors on cockpit view are darker.

There is a Cavalier in Assetto Corsa that could be converted, if the quality is better than the model that is already availabe.

Just got through driving it and it seems pretty well done

I'm not converting the AC cars, the quality may be better but the GTR2 models are consistent across the field plus it would mean a lot of skinning for not much gain.

Getting constant CTD issues trying to play as a Vauxhall, I thought it was my install at first but then after I tried a new fresh GTR2 and same thing.

EDIT: traced issue to Mark Blair 1999 Vauxhall. Guessing the game does not like his fancy rims.

EDIT 2: the "IND_Vauxhall.hdc" has something wrong with it? I changed the HDC file only to the "VECTRA_1996.hdc" and it loaded for around 25 seconds, then CTD.

Only problem is that it is only with this one car.

Found the fault  - In the  IND_VAUXHALL.HDC file there should be a space between these lines:


diffuser further to the rear giving more aero rear bias.

I can't thank you enough for this amazing piece of work. It has given me hours and hours of fun and this newest update looks better than ever! This is not just a videogame mod, it's a piece of motorsport history and it deserves being regarded as such. Thank you again to all of the creators.

BTCC 2001 V2 + 2002 should around soon

Yeah an updated version of BTCC 2001 is available, I will put a new thread for it soon but its all in the same folder if anyone wants to download. 2002 add on pack is in the 'Addon Skin Packs BTCC 2001' folder


Also I forgot to post that the version 5.4 of the super touring mod is available - if you had 5.3 there is a hot fix folder with the changes which are:

RHD Mondeo Mk2 Added
New model for Mazda Xedos - Delete old one first!
Fix for Mark Blair Vauxhall CTD when trying to drive.
Slight resizing of Toyota Carina

And I spotted 307 BTC-T.

BTW, I wonder if we'll see Mondeo Mk2 saloon..?

By the way i never realized that BTCC 2001 was a standalone mod. I was thinking it was a base mod with some cars and never understood why there wasn't a skinpack only.

Thats great.I'm also working on the 1995 spa 24hours.Check the franco fan collection page on facebook.It has hundreds of pictures.Also as a new year surprise i have painted the belgian procar of 1994 for race 07 and the gtr2 version will be converted by satori

Watching my new BTCC 2000 DVD review reminded me, how is progress here?

Also David Leslie drove a Honda at Thruxton apparently.

I believe they said this in regards to drivers swapping cars mid-season.

*Some exceptions - 1994 grid size sometimes exceeds track limits, a driver usually from secondary class will be missing.  Drivers who switched cars or teams can't be simulated David Leslie in 2000 for example only appears in a Nissan.

It's a shame they can't be added as a bonus skin but totally understandable.

This makes me very sad. Had to re-download everything yesterday and Supertouring 6.0 appears to be out and yet nobody seems to have told anyone. There is also a addon new for it too, containing cars for the :-

-1995 South African Touring Car championship
- 1995 Australian Touring Car Championship
- 1995 Czech Republic Touring Car Championship
- And some cars from the 1995 Macau Ghia Race

There is an update for the windows which look much better. (Think this has to do with .GFX files that are outside of the Gamedata files) and new car models for the Hyndai Lantera, Nissan Sentra (I think! I don't recognize what car it is if it's a substitute) Mercedes 190E, VW vento and the Mistubishi Carisma. The Carisma looks to a beta version considering the car has the name "exhibition" on the windows, although I have no idea where it raced if it ever did.

Unfortunately the BTC mod is missing so I cannot use the BTCC 2002 mod yet. Hopefully it will be updated soon And the templates are gone too.
