Hello all...
Some of you know me as COLVIN35, but my full name is Matt Colvin. I am fortunate enough to live very close to one of the greatest North American tracks, Road Atlanta, and HQ to my favorite series, the American Le Mans Series. Sports car racing is one of my biggest passions, along with professional cycling.
I've been involved in SimRacing since N2003 and quickly realized that I wasn't as good at it as I thought, so I tried my hand at painting. I'm happy to say that I've been doing it ever since. I found a hobby in painting for N2003, and found my passion for sports cars in GTR. I'm proud to say that I've never gone back to watch NASCAR since.
I've been fortunate to have been part of several popular modding teams and even started my own, creating the ALMS 2007 mod, working with a great group of people. We learned the ropes (good and bad) of modding during the process and I have enjoyed every bit, well most of it, along the way. I have made life long friends with people from all walks of like and counties. One of my very best, doesn't even speak english, which still amazes me.
I help run Turn4Graphics.com, although you'd never know it as I haven't uploaded anything in quite a long time. I probably have about 50 cars that I could release tomorrow if I made car files for them. What can I say, I'm a painter. And if you have ever raced online with me, you're glad that I'm a painter! I love what I do, and generally feel that I'm decent at it. I guess I look at it as if I put all the effort into making my cars look like the real thing, you guys will enjoy racing them, and I've been successful at that I think. I always try to go for the most accurate liveries I can do, and I'm very fortunate to be able to work with my close friend JimC (T4G) who turns out amazing logos. I think the most important part of being part of a team is the mutual respect and trust that you have with the team members. Without that, you won't put out great work.
I'm glad to see that some of my good friends are here and look forward to getting to work with you guys again.

Re: Hello all...
Welcome Matt! I know it was a while ago now, but I'd still like to thank you for the ALMS 2007 mod. I lost so many hours when you guys released it that I lost count. I still see the Acura, Porsche (997 and the Spyder) and the Ferrari pop up in others mods now and then.

Re: Hello all...
Matt, you and your site are legends of gtr2; great to have you onboard. Good to have another cycling fan on the board and, having visited Petit Le Mans in 2009, I can say you live in an amazing part of the world with one of my favourite racetracks anywhere nearby - very jealous!
