Cannonball Run GTR2 CTD WTH
For ages I am trying to get Cannonball Run to run on my game but it always CTD on 3/4 loadingscreen. I wanna ask now on this place if maybe some guy can give me a hint. Everything works fine in my game but just not that amazing track! Here is a Logfile of my yesterdays trial to load the track. Can someobody pls help!?

OK thx. But what can I do to fix this!? I would be very thankful for help cos I loved this track so much in rFactor before and really miss it in GTR2. Merci!

So into "Cannonball..." itself!? And I think I also need PTLIT01 - does anyone have that!? Thx for further help.
Edit: OK I actually found PTLIT01 in another trackfolder and will now try again. Keep your fingers crossed. (Sad smilie coming up I guess but will try anyway).
And here it comes: Nada. My question: Can someone who has this track working pls upload it - maybe there is a solution following that path. Maybe I need to edit a .txt file in the track!? Well thx for further support.
And now that I even added both PITLIT01 and PITLIT02 still the same line in crash report:
steward.cpp 1387: Could not find light "PTLIT02"

So if that really is the prob the question remains where to put the files.

Not for me they don't- Speechless is what I am. And btw. is there a way to make Targa Florio work in GTR2!? It only works in PnG3 for me so far.

Just installed and tested... the GTR2 version works like a charm !!!

Good for you. Another track that obviously wants to annoy me is Targa Florio. Only works in PnG3 but when I wanna use it in GTR2 it CTD immediately. Are there experts who know more and can help pls!?

More and more I have the suspicion that the problem might be your computer. Both tracks are very heavy on ram and fps. The fault indication with the missing pitlights often appears when the games ctd because of too little ram. Could you show us some details of your machine to see if this might be the problem. Do you use the 4GB patch? (Btw the problem in Canonball was a wrong version in the shared folder. It had to be teammaps.gtr, not gtl, thats why the error message showed "Gaussian elimination for HAT poly failed"! The trk- files never called for any pitlights, there are no lines with these gmts.) The problem with the Targa Florio mit be a wrong path in the trk-file. Open the trk-file with an editor and control the path. I´m really shure it is pointing to a P&G folder. But if you put that track into a "normal" installation, this folder is missing, so you have to edit the path.

Everything else runs very fine. I do use the 4GB patch of course. My specs: Gigaybyte 970A-UD3, AM3+ Mobo, CPU AMD FX 4350 4x4,4 GHz, Grafixcard Nvidia GTX 760 with 4GB VRAM, 1 RAM Corsair Vengeance 4 GB , 1866MHz, XP. PSU Enermax MaxPro II , 700 W. That is not a bad machine at all and I can run every game that is for XP with max settings and no probs.

Same problem here !
I have the same problem, in my case it works with gtr2, but when trying to pass it to gt legends this happens to me, sometimes the game starts, but the car goes to the bottom of the earth.
