She will get a statue at the Ring as well. She will be honored and remembered as she deserves. No doubt about it. She was awesome...- now she can race thru the Universe with all Racinglegends who are already up there...

This petition to name a corner of the Nurburgring after the 'Queen of the Ring' late Sabine Schmitz was a huge success with over 50,000 votes and turn 13 of the Nurburgring was officially renamed as the 'Sabine Schmitz Curve'.
