IMSA 2016 - WEC 2014/15/16/17 COMPLETE (W.I.P)

I did it, i bought it! 20€! Big mistake.      

Many cars are not working. Most error is "Error opening mas file: IEC_COMMON.mas"
Lot of cars are ctd directly...
A few are working.

Tested on a fresh Automobilista installation, on my old and working (eating everything) install and on a warez version. All the same...  
(Thank god i made a backup before!!!)

Am very disappointed after so much "Blablabla" in the forums and on FB!

If you paid through Paypal, you can request a chargeback due to false advertisement. If the mod was sold as working and it doesn't without any extra work by the end user (and/or without any supplementary readme/installation tutorial by the author), it is eligible for a full refund. Just include screenshots of the Facebook/website page where he advertise it, screenshots of the cars not working and attach them to the refund request and there is nothing he can do about it other than either refund you on his own or refuse to do so and get Paypal involved and force a chargeback through them.

You lost your €20 only if you selected the "send money to friends and family" option on Paypal. Otherwise, if you chose the "business" option (the first one), you can get your money back.

Creating a mashup of forum material and ripped RR3 content and charging for it doesnt float my boat too well.

Come on this isn't even as big as the FIA GT 97-09 mod and that's free!

It has not been a lot of money, I know ... I can at least learn something from it.
Well, it was very tempting, and I really wanted to. Not a big loss, but a little annoying.

By the way: The functioning cars unfortunately do not support Realfeel. Very simply conversions.

It was a direct link to the paypal webside, so i think its like a payment for friends.

OK, i will help the author, he is unemployed. Thats the only good reason - helping a simracing enthusiastic.

Did you download all the updates as well? i haven't had any issues as of yet and i've gotten all 3 packs.

is this FIA GT 97-09 mod for GTR2 or AMS?? as i know nothing about it.

Just post the mod here. Stop letting people pay 20 euros (holy crap!) for ripped stuff, and it's EEC stuff too....

I will say it won't be welcome here as far as promoting links to it that require payment as some of it is our content.

i know that he has paid some money for 3d models though.
how much content is ripped, remains unknown unless somebody looks into the files...
my guess is you will find a lot of stuff in there which was ripped from other mods, also from here...
taking money for that is a real classic act:-)

sadly he is just doing what all the other AC converter guys are doing.
it is no secret that the modding scene is dead and this is what i has become.
Obviously there are enough people who are willing to pay for it!

maybe i have to sell my stuff as well:-)

And honestly, I do not want anything for nothing. I like to pay for quality. Do I have to pay for manufacturers stuff like DLCs etc.

The modder here is more known in the rFactor community, actually these cars were first imported into rF1 then directly converted to AMS. It's also paid there at the same price. Some of the cars are indeed from EEC, a big chunk are from GTR 2 (some skins are different but minor edits), don't believe the authors were given credit anyway after it was put on sale. Bugs are common with some of the mods.

Bug-free, AMS adapted and good quality.
Shame that the AMS modding scene seems to be gone these days (except of some rips here and there and RSS). Game still has a lot of potential.

Have annoyed me every day about this lousy piece of software.
Have just opened a case at PayPal for money refund, because unlicened (maybe) stolen parts; unusable illegal software.
Let's see if I can get the money back? I give a try...

It's weird how people wont think twice before distributing properly scratch made content like URD but hesitate to post a paid mod with ripped stuff

Problem was solved by the money receiver. Refund was made.
Before there was the hint that at some point in the future all errors would be corrected.
He was very friendly anyway.

Btw, if the software is free at some point, I am willing to support the modder, gladly with a donation. That would be the better way in my opinion, knowing that only a few would be willing to donate.
