Welcome from Grobo
Hello All,
I realized I signed up for EEC a while back that I never introduced myself, so I sincerely apologize.
My name is Jon Grabowski and I'm 35 years old. I'm from Southeast Massachusetts and I live in one of those coastal towns that TV networks send their camera crews to to do live shots of their reporters getting crushed by waves and snow as houses fall into the ocean in the background.
The sims I race are primarily Nascar Racing 2003 and GTR2. I just started to try skinning, I come from a broadcast/design background so I thought it would be a good way to learn the craft and make it meaningful. I heard about EEC while I was searching for Mods for GTR2. I was impressed by the community here and wanted to do more.
I want to become a member because I love GTR2, want to learn more about the game and contribute to the community that keeps the sim relevant and great.
As for other stuff about me
- Love all forms of racing
- I have a large collection of car magazines which I will someday inventory
- One of my high school summer jobs was working for a Nascar collectables store
- I enjoy mountain bikes, soccer, guitars, and working on my old house
- My favorite type of dog is a Golden Retriever
- I once called former Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney's summer house and talked to his wife
- I enjoy playing around with these sims and one of the windfalls is working in a windows environment as the rest of my life is either apple or linux

I'm pretty sure I had that same car as the wallpaper on my old computer. I took a photo of it at Baltimore GP.

That is where I took the picture. First year there-the old ALMS days.
