Got a CTD with the Z4 GTE:
Code:
vehgfx.cpp  2631: Unable to read C:\USERS\JORRIT VAN DASSELAAR\DOCUMENTS\GTR2\USERDATA\LOG_DEDICATED\vehgen.scn: Error loading mesh file BMWZ4_GTE_EXTRALIGHTS to memory

So I checked the cas and changed the genstring:
GenString=091
into
GenString=0911

and it helped

I think it's generally helpful to make them very bright for the night time and make sure that they can take a bit of damage as we're racing different speeds.

Someone needs to compile everything related to the GRID mod in one large package and rehost it... Actually I think I'll do it myself. Jorrit's thread has a lot of grid fillers this one doesn't, while this one has the new cars. Kamuro might be pissed, but I'm not doing anything anyone here hasn't done, lol Twisted Evil

On a side note, it's not that easy to drive these modern cars with flappy paddles and without assists... Embarassed

I think i could make this anounce here and now^^, I will try to fit the Forza cockpit of Lola on the JPBS models, they are way better than orignal one.
But for this I need all the datas necessary with all the differents team from 2008 to 2012. Will make a topic for it.

I repacked everything that's most recent in GRID mod, but uploading it is impracticable because there are 9 segments of 200 MB... But it has EVERYTHING, even the unauthorized Enduracers conversions, as well as the most recent gdb files (included with Z4).

you can use sony vegas studio for the sound modifications. is a awesome software.

Any sound editing software that allows you to modify sound volume should work. I recommend the Audacity because it's free.

Daniel I tried editing those values for another sound I have that is too low volume (Mariachi's BMW M3 GT sound) but it seems it's not the answer... I tried tinkering with it in the past and I'm not sure what these values do at all...

What I do know, however, is that in rFactor you can up the volume of the samples in the sfx file with the numbers after each file name at the beginning of the file, but these numbers don't exist in GTR2 so you need to edit the sound at the "source", that is, the sample itself. Enduracers recorded sounds at a low volume, but they increase the volume the way I said.

The sounds of Enduracers are a mixed bag... Corvette sounds like shit while Porsche sounds nice.
