I remember this problem on some other cars a long time ago, but I can't remember the fix.
Any ideas?
The dirtscreen for the 10th anniversary path is incompatible with the mod so if you have that installed that will be what is causing the issue

If you have any loose "Screen_Dirt"dds files in GameData/Teams, remove them. Should be numbered from 00 to 05. Most likely you probably got these from the 10th anniversairy mod and they aren't compatitible.

I've been having a blast playing with this mod. Many thanks to everybody involved in its creation.
I found a little oversight in the Avus track that causes CTD, but it's super easy to fix. Just open STAV.trk and SFAV.trk files (Avus and Avus Feature .trk files), locate this line

Thanks, that was it. I deleted the loose dirt screen files and all is well with that.
Now if I could only figure out the other problem with that 1 install.

Important Announcement
I would like to wish a happy new month to everyone. Having said that while i was doing research today i came across 2 mods for Assetto Corsa(paid mods) that are a mix of the Supertouring mod for Race 07 and our GTR2 version. I'm pretty sure they have been converted without permission from the authors but i've contacted said team to find out what excuse they'll come up with.
This mod will always be free. We will not allow anyone to convert parts of this or the fellow Race 07 versions to profit in any way and will not allow any conversion without permission. If you find such examples please let me or FRM - Furi Race Mods know about this and don't support whoever is behind this unless its a credited mod with permission from us.
Apologies for the slightly angry tone but many mods have suffered from this practice and it pisses me off that there are such people out there.

Re: SUPER TOURING: EVOLUTION by FRM - V1.03b 4th September 2019
Nothing will ever change and nobody will ever do anything about it.
I too have found multiple skins I've made for the TCR project stolen, converted and reuploaded for profit (alongside Triebie's cars they were painted for) which was one of the reasons why I stopped releasing them myself.
If you call them out, they will ban you from their pages and delete your comments. If you do a background check on them and their websites (outside of Facebook groups/pages) you'll see all results pointing towards Russia where they simply don't care. They themselves don't care. Russian/Eastern European economy is so weak compared to most western countries that while I don't excuse them, I understand why they're doing this. It's a dishonest practice, but to them it's an easy way to make some extra money on the side.
The only solution to stop their illegal operations at least temporarily would be to put together a sizeable group of people (tenths, or possibly hundreds) and have them spam the PR email addresses of each and every single manufactured represented in a stolen mod for AC (which is pretty much everyone) so that they could potentially get involved and issue DMCAs and threaten legal actions.
Which is something that was done to take down the very popular 3D Models page on Facebook (one which was our oasis) by, allegedly, people affiliated with "rival" site GameModels.ru
The real problem is at its root, the fact that the files are accessible freely here and elsewhere. I warned people many times about this YEARS ago. Not days or weeks or months, but YEARS. But nobody wanted to listen to me and the website was opened to all; or rather, mods that would eventually become very "attractive" for these scammers shouldn't have been available in the free sections to begin with.
There are hundreds of accounts registered here with 0 posts and daily login visits. Ban them all, enforce the presentation and signature rules with no exceptions to anybody, not even friends, and at least that part of the problem will be solved.

Hello,
I'have got the mod very early and put it on a new install and folder. No other mod.
I can see all the cars and tracks, play weekend races but I can't get the championships for instance the BTCC which appeared after the official seasons 2003/2004 in the list on the 2.23 version.
Is it normal? Did I miss something? I'have tried with or without Patch 9.8. Same result.....got the mega link, new flat install idem...

The thing I fear about that though, is that if manufacturers become involved, I feel like they will eventually turn it around on everyone and crack down on all mods that use manufacturers, racing series, or maybe even sponsors.

Well lets hope such a thing doesnt happen.
Turns out the team behind the theft didn't have any permission neither from the original author of the mod for Race 07 nor from us. Obviously they didn't bother to reply to any of our questions.
This is the mod in question.

Never underestimate the power of the internet. The popular page "assettocorsacarmods" that shared thousands of stolen mods has finally been shutdown.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]
It's unlikely that they won't try to comeback with a new page, but nevertheless, I like it when facts prove me right.
And now, let's put an end to this discussion which has gone far enough in this topic and carry on with the development of this mod.

True that.
So some information for you. I've been doing research lately and there will be new championships that will make their debut as part of the 90s content. Here's whats left to do besides the current series reworks:
Spa 24Hours 1993-1996(1997 is done and released)
Australian Grand Prix Support 1995-1998
Australian Indy Support 1995-1996
Spanish Hillclimb series(1997-2001)
Italian Hillclimb series(1996-2001)
Polish Touring Car Championship(1999-2001)
Slovakian Hillclimb series(1998-2001)
Yugoslavian Touring Car Championship(1996-1998/2000)
Slovenian Touring Car Championship(1995-1996)
Croatian Touring Car Championship(1996)
Oslo Racing Festival(2000)
British Formula Saloons Championship(1996-2001)
Some of these series go up to 2001 because they will be done in 2 parts. Series that go on to 2002 and onwards will form the second chapter of the mod, the series of which i will inform you about soon.

Belgian Procar 2001 previews. The grid only had 2 cars(Hemroulle/Verbegt and Lupant) but in July a joint race was held at Spa with the French Supertourisme cars bringing the grid to 10 car. The French cars will be listed in the EXTRA section. Some previews.

I don't quite understand these 2
aren't all entries already in regular Australian super touring ? complete with same liveries and number plates ? I know some drivers may be changed but that's about it

yes but Kyalami you had a lot of guest entries like Schnitzer, Abt team, Holzer and some others
but here AFAIK no such thing just the usual ASTC ones but do as you please , IMO is a bit of duplcaite work without any real extras
on eof those australian special events (forgot name) comproside dof just 7-8 starters and 2 of them were ancient E30 M3 which were left quickly in dust

Re: SUPER TOURING: EVOLUTION by FRM - V1.03b 4th September 2019
I would like to express my absolute thanks for the work that has been put into this. I love it! It's really nice to see the amount of detail that has gone into this and the fact I'm learning about championships I had no idea about! Top work!
May I ask a bit of a silly noob question? It's a very minor thing but when I'm in the bonnet/nose cam, the graphic that shows the temperature for the tires etc, is over the race positions live timing bit. Is there anyway to turn it off, or move it? I just think it would give that a much cleaner look. I've had a look about and can't find where to do it. I do apologise if it's stupidly simple solution.

Your question is not related to this mod. You should take a look at XD plugin documentation. You have to change something in your XD.ini file. Nobody can help you because it depends from your screen resolution. You have to try right parameters.
