Joe if vadaklaut doesn't mind try My changes I haven't fully tested it but I think I got the
rising and setting sun in the correct place and I altered the loading screen by making it
wide because everyone's got wide screen monitors now. plus I changed a lot of the
shadows to Static for higher fps and I added this years qualifying times
I also changed the track lighting and road grip but I haven't tried to match qualifying times yet

try running it with low shadow settings and multi core, this track is heavy because it is converted from rf2[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] wrote:Seems fine on my low end system but gameplay stutters a lot.

Re: [RELEASE] Le Mans 2017 from rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa
Christian thank you very much for the track, it's beautiful!!!! Thank you very much.
The grass problem I didn't have in my computer, where I can find grass is grass and when I found sand it's sand. The track runs without problems here.
But I think the track is a little bit heavy, I drove alone on a training to see the track in details, I could notice some light slowdowns and few lag hickups, mainly on grid part. I'm afraid to play with other cars on track. And I could see lights on daytime as well, I think this is the reason why on grid part is heavier than the rest of the track, is there a way to turn off the lights during the day?
But I loved the track, nice conversion man! And guys, people here that knows how to manage a track on GTR2 could help him to solve these bugs and optimize it would be nice, the track is worth good.

Well I already run my races with custom options to save memory, the track just needs more adjustments though. Don't take it personally Christian.
Terry, to have a proper sun rise and its textured horizon remove the sunrise.gmt, keep the sunset one as the textured horizon at sunset gets close to the right place but go back to .GDB file and set the NorthDir= to 0, the sun seems to be in a very accurate position for both sun rise and sun set with that value.

That's great to see Christian
I hope You've figured out the odd looking grass and sand textures
But it's very strange that some people like me get it on our PC while others don't
If You still can't fix it the only person I know who might is BillBro

Good looking progress mate!
Just noticed that pit limiter activation line is way too deep inside boxes if compare to reality
[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It shouldnt be a problem to move "xpitin".gmt to a proper place like on screen in the next update

He is here on the forum under the name BillBro, you can find him with the memberlist button. I'm sure if you send him a PM he should get back to you asap. But do bear in mind he was last active on October 28th. So, there maybe some waiting to do regarding PMs. Another guy I would recommend speaking to about track modding, is RacerM (also on this forum). He knows quite a deal about track modding and I'm sure he'll be able to help you out with your track issues.

Would it be possible to have a single link with the track equipped with all the updates, because with all these links there we do not know what to install in the game.
For the sake of all of us, It would be good to update your a single link on the first page with including all updates for this track. thank you
