Hey guys,

Using a custom championship to run the cars from the IMSA 2017 season, but noticing that the cars are way out of time with each other and on some track the cars are insanely faster then they were in real life aswell>

What would be the cause this generally, a combined problem of engine files, track AIW and physics?

If so what would be the easiest way of 1, making the lap times reflect the real ones, 2 evening up car performance.

Cheers.

If you dont want to change much just lower the HP and/or increase the Mass of the car in the .hdc

Interesting

How accurate could one make realistic lap times with this technique?

the best way is to adjust the ai grip levels in the tyr files...assuming its not a 1 tire fits all scenario of course.

What values need to be changed?

Would that Tyre idea work with the Scorypo C7R it's just a tad too quick for the rest of the GTLM field? I mean like 2 seonds faster at Daytona lol

It depends. Is that the only car to use that tyr file? If so then absolutely it would work. If it's shared by other cars then no as they too would be affected by whatever changes you make. If that is the case you could make a new tyr file just for the C7R and make the change then. Just be sure to change whatever you named the new tyr file to match the name in the C7R hdc.
