Name: Kyle Merkel
Age: 26
Location: Eastern USA
Sim Games I play: I have spent most of my time racing both online and offline on Nascar Racing 2003. I have also played rfactor 1, and most recently purchased GTR2 on steam, and have loved what I have experienced so far!

I came across EEC by researching mods for GTR2. I will be only playing GTR2 offline and have been looking for the best mods for a great offline experience against AI, and run my own custom championships.

I do race online, but I will be sticking with NR2003 for online play, as I am in several leagues. For GTR2, as mentioned above I will be sticking with offline.

I don't know a thing about modding or skinning, as far as GTR2 goes. I have made a couple skins for Nr2003 though.

There will be no problem if I only have access to certain mods, but if I could request anything, it would be for me to be allowed to download the mods in this thread. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

To be honest, I am not much a forum type person with checking it constantly and getting involved in conversations. With that said, I will make a donation to the site, as a thank you for allowing me to have access to the mods here. As soon as I am approved, or whatever, I will make my donation, or If needed can make my donation first. Whatever works for the administrators.

I am a race fan and racer myself. I started racing 1/4 midgets when I was 5, and moved into dirt late models when I was 16 and have driven them and also have some years of experience behind the wheel of a Dirt northeast modified. I am a fan of several racing disciplines, I obviously enjoy Nascar being from the states, but I also have an interest in F1, the WEC and IMSA. As far as sports go, I started playing ice hockey when I was 5, and through the years played on travel teams and for my high school. Since graduating, I have stayed involved with the sport playing in a beer league. I also love to play golf, I get out at least once a week through the spring and summer.
For my occupation, I work for the family business, which is installing the rebar in in-ground swimming pools. I love my job, as the scenery changes everyday, and we do work all over the Northeastern US.

Pleasure being here and thank you!

Welcome Kyle. You'll enjoy the diversity and help here. I was a GTR2 offline guy for years. The Grid mod is very cool so have fun! Check out the EEC GT3 mod too which IMO is better.
If you want better AI at low cost, and easier custom skin additions check out Stock Car Extreme. It's a better mod package IMO, has some NASCAR available mods too along with the Sports cars.
