Hello from Belgium to ... here, there and ... everywhere :)
Hi everybody in this house
Just to begin with, I cannot promise to post here regularly for the single one reason .... my days are not 48 hours long, even though I sometime regret it
I'm already present in some english speaking forums for a few years at Nogrip ( I nearly deserted now ), RD, F1C, Assetto Corsa, Absolute Modding Team, my own french league, etc ... etc ...
65 year old now, I only began Simracing in year 2011 for real with ... Shift1, then GTR2 followed by Race07 .... followed now mainly with Assetto Corsa and since a few weeks ...Automobilista. ( + other gamesI also own )
Belgian, not far from Spa track ... I visited quite a lot during those wonderful Group C years and different 24 hours years .... and even before with my father when I was a kid, little kid even if I'm not .... tall now ! ( I saw Jim Clark, Jo Bonnier, Jack Brabham, Chris Amon etc ... on track with their F1s on a rainy day ... in fact more a very wet day as Spa regularly may know. )
Speaking english was a good thing as I mostly discovered everything since the time on english speaking forums.
Curious of everything ( learning at all ages ! is always a good thing ! ) I mostly learned the most I know now with my readings and other simracers or modders ' help.
In my case, mostly ... skinning. ( interested by 3D and blender but no time for it ) ... I already skinned for Shift, Race07, GTR2 ( much now at Absolute Modding Team ), AC and surely soon also AMS ....when I'll have more free time ( I preserved a bit of it to my wife of course ..... too little surely )
I mus t add a every day long time busy at our french league as Co-admin, server responsible and the worst part ... treasurer of the association
Main translater for our forum ... as most members don't speak english easily.
Back marker as driver but always clean ( maybe too clean to be quick ? ) but always at the finish line .... that's why I always prefer Endurance to ... Sprint Races.
Hoping I was not too long .......... see you "soon". ( Soon ? ... strangely I think I already heard this word somewhere ! )
