no 6 Mazda

what to do with no 6 Mazda ?   it started as a Lantis and after 2 events it was also a Familia

having it as Lantis would be better for grid diversity but as a Familia no need to paint a Lantis, just   switch the number plate upside  from 9 to 6   Laughing     lol!    and maybe recolor the banner

STW pack needs UPDATED !!!

Bad news is STW pack needs updated  Twisted Evil


GOOD news, the reason is cos I found shots of the missing Opel Astra with No 15 of Mario Hebler , GH Sport  Laughing

better news, it's plain white  

essentialy take the Marco Werner skin, remove every non-championshi logos and put no 15 and driver name and you have it !!

Good news - BTCC track pack complete barring two DDS files i'm awaiting from my US colleague GTPorsche.

Spot anything else here?

The only differences are the front grille the front bumper and the taillights(instead of being white and red,the indicators where orange.The differences can be seen here:

Yes just a different bumper has to be modeled and even that is not that necessary in my opinion.

The BMW E36 I once changed the switching animation, so that the driver now also the shift lever moves correctly.
The new values are now this.
"Shift stick position = (0.0503, 0.7682, -0.2906)"

Furthermore, I would find it better if you would use the steering wheel of the BMW M3 GTR from GTR2 for the BMW E36. This would look more real, than the currently built with lots of buttons, it had not yet at that time.

Also, I have found that the Nissan Primera P10 have no sound. This is because that this vehicle simply lack the .aud file. But you can copy the file .aud the Nissan Primera P11 in the P10 folder and then also this car has sound.

What version of Bathurst is it? I use the ORSM 2010 conversion which is decent looking and has good AI.

2006, if I recall 2010 is a edit of 2006. Started texture editing work last night.

Cutting down on some excess textures at Thruxton. 100mb + really? Currently converting the 3D spectators to 2D ones - much better on memory, FPS, and also graphically consistent with the rest of the circuit.

So Thruxton finished now but overall the pack is around 500mb zipped, so going to try and adjust and optimise some files now to cut down on the size of the pack.

Individually unzipped:

Croft 39.7mb
Donington 55.4mb
Knockhill 77.4mb
Oulton 78.3mb
Silverstone 69.9mb
Snetterton 37.9mb
Thruxton 350mb (currently sorting duplicate files, probably around 70mb when finished)

Salzburring is a great track but it ha some issues with  low FPS   compared to other tracks

how about Mainz-Finthen ?? this was also german Airfield race track and was used in the DTM

I'm in two minds about substitutes as I'd like to keep some degree of authenticity. So I would reckon be better to 1) sub in a track not used in that season (Eg: Avus) or just skip the round altogether.

what improvements are you planing for avus? i think the most important one should be the chicane which is to fast.
