As of today (April 1st 2016) I'm fed up with GTR2 and all it's limitations. Therefore I'm switching to rF2 with all my future mods.

This would be actually a good thing
but too good to be true

To be honest despite it being the 1st of April. Why are people still modding GTR2? I have it as a game but have never spent more than 10mins on it.
Is the driver group really that big on it?
If I was awesome enough to be able to mod I'd be on the rfactor engines as they seem to be the leaders in this thing. I'd be targetting AMS personally because looking around RD how bad can it be when you get people there uploading awful conversions. You'd be a star actually modding correctly something to AMS compared to most of the standard on there.

GTR2 is based on isimotor
And most people are on it because of the amount of mod cotent it has. Plus you can have night and rain without needing a newer PC so some people are going to stay on it for quite a while.
For online racing it's just not nice anymore.
What I dont get is why some people that say they love GTR2 go to AC, to me it makes no sense at all.

Because AC is garbage.

Pcars isint that bad tbh.. modding has been very discussed lately.. The even maid a major changing to make it easier to add and activate mods. Many have done mods but barley anyone shares :'(. Been finding rebellion rones, toyota gt ones and peugeot 908 but no one has a download link .. it could really nees some good modders.

See mate, that's the kind of thing I don't understand. gtracer puts it into graphics. But if someone say they love GTR2 they would do it for its features and they aren't present in AC, that's what I don't understand. Well to each their own.
And yep, if someone want graphics go P CARS.
Best graphics and a decent performance no matter if rain, night, day, etc. The game itself is not good tho. I wish rF2 had those graphics (and next Reiza sim too)

Yeah, I've thought that AC is going to be my first choice when I get a new pc but after checking it out at my friends, I'm disappointed... I'll probably combine different games for different series, but with EEC GT3 on AMS that game is getting more and more appealing to me...
