doing wheelies in GTR2
I guess this is as good a spot as any to post this.
I have been working extensively on a Can-Am mod for months now and have gotten to know the physics in GTR2 pretty decently now and had an idea. I wondered if you could actually do a legit wheelie? So I changed a few settings and got it on my first try

Here's the short video I made the screens from. Sorry but the quality sucks
I know it's very limited but it's still kinda cool I tried it on a couple other cars and sure enough, it worked

would be great if it could have been made aerodynamical that when you reach a hill in a hig speed so do you flip.. would been the most realistic mercedes clr physichs

Re: doing wheelies in GTR2
that would actually be easy to do I would think. I'm also working on getting the cars to go over that last bit of the Mulsanne where the hump is and you can get airborne so as that the cars stay stable and not go nose up rear down like they usually do. It's a bit of a goal for when I get to the Absolute Lemans Part 2 cars. For now, I still have about 80 or so hdc files to create for the Can-Am Revelations 2.0 mod I'm doing. It sounds like a lot but when you consider I've already created 747 of them already, 80 is nothing

Re: doing wheelies in GTR2
apparently not hehe I've been redoing the physics and sounds for the Can-Am mod which was way before your time and they were the most awesome, no holds barred cars to ever race. As an example, Denny Hulme wanted a wider tire that Goodyear would make for him. The only rule that needed followed to do so was to widen the wheel arches so as the wheels weren't outside beyond the body. In other words, the tire could be as wide as you want as long as it didn't protrude beyond the body. That's it.

I was looking for a drag racing track and happened to read this...
I was just looking for a drag racing track but with no luck. I did however this...
"Well I got a wheelie
But not airborne
Deleted the front & rear wing and diffuser and raised the second two values in BodyFore up to 3.0 (all in the HDC file)
BodyFore=(0.0, -0.150, 0.435) // aero forces from moving forwards
Program hangs if you go above 8.0"
I haven't tried it but given the video, perhaps this might be what you're after.
