Hi from France.

Go down

Hi from France.

Post  poupoule on Wed 11 Jun 2014, 05:52

Hello everyone !

Well, let's do this presentation !

1 - What's your real name, age?
My name is Nicolas Dufay (I prefer the short version - Nico Duf), 32yo since April 27th

2 - From where you are?
A little town in France called Moulins, basically it is stuck between 2 places you should have heard about : Magny-Cours and Clermont-Ferrand (Michelin's hometown).

3 - Which Sim games do you play?
Well, I started young with "Vroom" (If anyone know this game, kudos !), and played every sim and/or racing game avaiable on PC ever since (GP 1-2-3-4, NFS and cie, Codemasters games -TOCA, CMR...-  ...jeez, there's a lot of them actually...).
GTR2, obviously, is my "main" sim game for a long time now, I also have Assetto Corsa, pCars, next Car Game, GT Legends, rFactor (not the 2 though), F1 '10-11-12-13 and, of course, Euro Truck Simulator 2 (Seriously, great game if you like to be comfy).

4 - How did You know about EEC Team?
Patriot's signature on F1C !

5 - Do you ever race online?
Yep, but not for a very long time. I started like 2 or 3 months ago, while joining IMT forum, and for some reason, Kamuro closed the online section yesterday, so...

6 - Do you have enough free time to run on sundays?
Of course, that's why I'm here !

7 - Do you know something about modding, skinning?
Well, I used to do some cockpits for Grand Prix 2 15 years ago, does it count ?
But more seriously, I'm a graphic designer so no problem with PS or Illustrator, but never did actual mods for GTR2, I think I could help though, if needed.
I also like to spend (or waste) my time trying to make a "perfect" AI for my GTR2...  ...I will make it perfect, one day !

8 - Any problem for you if we give access only for some Mods?
No, (but what would happen if I say yes ?)

9 - Are you here only to grab mods and then leave us?
Honestly, even if I like mods like everyone, I'm mostly here for the online racing.

10 - Please, write a few words about you (hobbies, sports, job, etc):
Well, like I said I'm a graphic designer, so drawing, painting and everything we can call "artistic", I guess.
Sports ? Not a big fan of sports, I admit, I like walking though. If it's on TV on the othe hand, well, yes I like it (Foot, hockey and obviously every sports with 4 wheels and an engine -or two-).

I guess that's enough for now, but if you have some more questions, well, just ask Smile
