Super Touring wheels

I am looking to change the appearance of the aero disc wheels on a mondeo mk2. I have used the file supplied and changed it to have a black aero disc, however, when I load it into the game, I have all four wheels with the aero discs. How can I keep my design, but just run the aero at the rear.

so in basic form you want to run different wheels on the rear?

cant remember the exact details on it but basically you need to edit some numbers whilst in 3dsimed for the new wheels and edit the genstring setup to split the wheel choice up so as an example

you genstring is 34162
^
l
wheel choice is the third digit with only one option

edit your new wheel in 3dsimed to be number two

add a 6th slot to the genstring like so in the .car file
l
v
34162X

edit the the rear wheel genstring slot in the .cas file from <3> to <6>

now in the genstring if it looks like 341621 you'll have the same wheels all round
if the genstring looks like 341622 then you'll have the aero disc wheels you speak of on the rear


this is if memory serves me right of course, hopefully someone more knowledgeable will read this and correct me if i'm wrong

Ah I assumed you had it lol, it's a paid thing, google it and you'll find it, maybe someone on here has a 'dodgy' copy though, if you look hard enough you may be able to find it

In theory could you use any wheel off any car within the game?

yes mate any wheel, I've done it with a couple cars in the past, also done it with brakes discs and calipers too, gives you the freedom to change postion and change size of items, bare in mind though its no simple task, takes a bit of time to learn how to do it too, it's basic modding, props to the real modders on here

I wouldn't mind the 6 spoke wheels used on the Alfa 155 on the mondeo mk1.

However I would also like to be able to customize the aero disk for the mk2 mondeo (add decals and change colour)
