Hi there, I go by the name of Zpectre in racing-related forums but my real name is Levi Davet. I'm from Curitiba, Brazil, 24 years old and I'm currently a lawyer, but I think I'll maybe change career because life is hard for newly graduated lawyers in Brazil unless you have parents already involved in law. I've been playing GTR2 since the end of last year after a stint with Shift 2 and GT Legends and just found GTR2 more comfortable to play. I haven't raced online yet, and I don't know if it's a good idea to let me race since my racecraft is horrible! And my internet connection is rather slow.

I originally come from the NFS community, when I played NFS High Stakes and Porsche Unleashed. I used to do modding for High Stakes, most of my work can be found at NFS Addons site. The trademark of my mods is my custom sounds, which I converted from Most Wanted and Carbon using Fraps to record the sounds and adapting them to the game. I left NFS because the High Stakes game has a really old DX7 graphics engine which doesn't support many detailed models at once and crashes the game, and race against 3 cars is boring. A friend showed me GT Legends and I started playing that game and GTR2 as well, but now I've kind of "abandoned" GTL since I think GTR2 is superior (I used to think otherwise). You can find me as "Zpectre" pretty much everywhere.

I wish to join the forum because I believe I can be helpful to members here. Also I don't know if you're interested, but I'm working on a WTCC mod. It's basically the mod by a Hungarian guy named f1mate_Fisichella available at F1C, but I've completely recompiled it, fixed most of the bugs, added new physics for a few cars like the SEAT Leon TDI (converted from Race On) and I'm in the process of gathering skins from all over the net to replace the buggy ones Fisichella had in his mod, also I've made the Lada 110s work in the game. If I release it I'll also give proper credits since Fisichella took a lot of stuff from WTCC 2005 mod for example and didn't credit the makers for it. And I'm learning to convert to GTR2 so we can have the Lada Priora from GTR Evo in the game, along with a few rFactor goodies.

As I mentioned, I also make sounds for games. I know how to convert sounds from Shift 2 so if anyone is interested, they can drop me a message. I work a bit slowly, though.

That's it, I hope I introduced myself well here! Also is a good thing that here we can stay away from the site wars, we need a place where we can collaborate as true friends!

Next in line! I was messing with some hatchback sounds because the Focus RS in that HHEC mod sounds like a 4-banger when the real car is a 5-potter.

One thing I'm having trouble fixing is the smooth transitions... I mean, in Shift 2 the sounds blend correctly, but in GTR2 I can't make them mix the way they are in Shift 2. So the quality is a bit lower.
