[RELEASE] FIA GT 2000-2002 Mod reworked

any chance to perhaps give FIA GT 97 mod such a high quality  "makeover"  ?  

for example use the Rfactor   Panoz GT1 or the WSGT Longtail Mclaren F1    etc


more correct and high quality   Viper , Lister and Marcos here

I totally forgot about the wsgt2 mod. I don't remember any news of it since 2011. Another mod never completed or released...

Sure it could be fun to have those 3d models but they seem to be unreachable.. have tryed to reach them in past for the 90s cars.. but each attempt has failed..

That usually happens if the name of the next track is wrong. Check it in the championship gdb cfile

the old Lamborghinis are missing a rain screan, could that be added easy ?

Is anyone else suffering from crashes stemming from this mod? I've had two CTDs so far with this message appearing in the trace both times:

I assume there's a broken car somewhere in the mod, but I don't know what car is triggering this issue...

Luigi. Long time no see.

Check the whole log and see if any cars above have trace issues, or better still post the trace file here. It's a sexy mod and be a shame to have glitches, with it so perfectly complimenting the original game.

If I remember right it was problem with one of Ferrari 550 but I can be wrong.

I suppose  1999 season was never done because it's really inferior to the following ones ,   cos seems all car models are available ?  


1999 was hoards of various 993 GT2 ,  the dominant Oreca Vipers and some customer Vipers and the odd Lister Storm and Marcos

Good pictures is hard to come by between like 1999-2002

I would like to work on something other than supertouring cars and i got to admit the 1999 FIA GT interests me but lack of material is what keeps me away.

another issue is many of this skins were also done by Team LMRT  for Le Mans 1999    , those skins would require just some slight editing like the race plates

anyway I would advocate to do a overhaul of Wildman's   other masterpiece, BPR Global GT  some skins missing   , some entries need some 3D editing (like rear wings)       and maybe some physics rework and some small bugs  fixed

I already did some of those missing  skins so I think time to release them , some are not fully finished, do what you want with them as long as I get the deserved credit   no point hanging on my HD unused

fixed CAS file for the Pantera, as  the rear bumper was visible in virtual mirror   and the Alpine A610  has a faulty LOD in medium setting if I remember this CAS file should solve it

Cool. I incidentelly uploaded a couple of BPR cars at NoGrip yesterday:

They are not perfect, but they do the trick. The Ferrari especially lacks some sponsors, but I could not find/be bothered to make the logos for those sponsors, so I left some space blank. Take it or leave it.

that Yellow Racing Ferrari 355  required some 3D editing at rear  that's why you need a modeler for this small jobs



other examples,  see no 85 and 100

the main body with  the small rear fenders non-turbo is already in-game but   the rear wings would need to be made and I think the rims too

overall it isn't that much work to do a BPR Global GT Mod  V 3.0    with this extra skins small fixes  and perhaps the ADAC GT Cup 94-95 as bonus grids
