Hello from Germany
Hi EEC-Community,
my name is Patrick Bais, 26 years old, from Germany.
Another sim I`m in is Armed Assault ARMA 2 and 3 Alpha, but I guess you mean sim-race and I have to admit I`m completly new to this and absolutly thrilled about GTR2.
In 2010 I visited the 24h race at the Nordschleife and VLN Langstreckenpokal for the first time and in this years almost drowning on the camp site, I asked myself if I could have a similar experience in my dry home. Searched the web, found GTR2 and here I am. I bought a very cheap force-feebback wheel (Driving Force EX) just to have look what sim-racing is all about.
To be honest I stumbled upon EEC while I was searching the web for VLN-Mods last weeks but I am not here to grab mods and leave because all these great GTR communities are so productive I got all together I was looking for.
I dont know anything about modding or skinning and usually I do have time to race sunday, just give me access to the mods I need online or could be interessting to race offline.
A friend of mine also got GTR2 now but I think he did`nt race a single lap in the last weeks but send me at least a dozen skins he made for exsitsing GTR-cars. He is really great with photoshop and I guess a new skin maker is soon coming into the world of GTR.
A fun fact about me is, on a tipsy night camping at 24h-Nürburgring in 2011, some friends and me fixed a promise to have a race team, car and race a prerace to the 24h or VLN within next 10 years. A year later a friend sold his own car to such a team and was invited to step into his "own" car next year for a stint, when he got his race license which he is preparing for now. Step one made.

Thanks for the warm welcome, but i can't help with the signature. I did it with oppening post, checked my sig in my profile as zpectre reminded me and now after reading Totenkopf`s post I checked again and it shows my name in the signature in the profile. So any admin can help?
Edit: Now we go. I just had to post a second time. Race on.
